Our sewing classes are geared towards adults and teens who wish to create and explore with different fabrics and patterns. Dreams by Janice offers a state-of-the art sewing room equipped with three sewing machines. In our sewing class you will learn to sew with and without patterns; learn different types of stitches, and yes learn how to re-sew on that button that popped off.
Class Groups: Adults & Teens
Knitting
In our knitting classes beginner students will learn basic knitting terminology, to cast on, knit, purl & bind off. In our more advanced classes learn to knit in the round with loop yarn, how to knit together front and back pieces, and how to knit without needle. Projects may include an array of things, such as hats, scarves, or blankets. Your items will make great gifts and you can also sell them at the Dreams by Janice Annual Art Expo!
Depending on the complexity of the project, supplies may not be included in the price. Please inquire about supply lists by calling the Art Studio.

Crocheting
Our crocheting classes are offered to beginner, intermediate, and advance crocheters. The classes are geared towards teens and adults who wish to explore and perfect their craftsmanship. Beginners will learn the basic crochet terminology, learn the single crochet stitch & the double crochet stitch. More advanced students will learn to crochet through back loops, double crochet, and crochet clusters.
